About the Role:

RDO Equipment Australia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Training Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our Training Team, you will be responsible for developing, adapting, and delivering training content and materials to our dealerships, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of training and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our customers and align with our company objectives and values.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in OEM certification processes for trainers.
  • Assist in developing John Deere C&F training content.
  • Research industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on the latest training methodologies and technologies.
  • Mentor apprentices and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop relationships with OEMs and key training providers to ensure that our training programs are aligned with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
  • Cert IV Training and Assessment qualification plus training experience an advantage.
  • Passion for people and knowledge sharing.
  • Extensive experience with John Deere Construction and Forestry equipment, with a focus on their systems and processes.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of our company's line of products.
  • Previous experience in a construction and forestry-related role highly advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills and technical acumen highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to work within a team.
