Key Responsibilities:

  • Month-end and financial reporting
  • Financial accounting tasks including FBT, tax, and consolidations
  • Management of leases and properties in accordance with AASB16
  • Accounting for acquisitions
  • Enhancing team capabilities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • CPA or CA qualification
  • Significant experience in a comparable role within a large and complex organization, preferably in a dealership setting
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles, particularly in financial reporting
  • Technical proficiency in AASB and IFRS standards
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • Familiarity with financial systems, including ERP and electronic workflow solutions, is advantageous
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to achieve results while managing priorities and reporting requirements
  • Capacity to identify and proactively manage improvement opportunities
  • Confidence in decision-making and the ability to work independently
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
