RDO Equipment is on the lookout for a skilled Technical Training Specialist to enhance our Vermeer Equipment product line. This position offers flexibility with the possibility of remote work across Australia, although occasional travel may be required.
This role is pivotal in identifying training needs and delivering impactful training sessions that foster departmental growth and talent engagement. We seek a dynamic individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is dedicated to providing exceptional training experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, and present training content tailored for our dealerships, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
- Regularly assess training effectiveness through participant feedback and evaluations, making necessary adjustments to course materials and delivery methods.
- Engage in the OEM Certification process for Trainers.
- Contribute to the creation of Vermeer Training Content.
- Investigate relevant training topics and industry trends to enhance expertise in product applications and machine systems.
- Collaborate with the Training and Leadership teams to develop and deliver content for RDO's Technical Competency Framework.
- Mentor apprentices to foster their development.
- Establish and maintain relationships with OEMs and key training providers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Mechanical Trade Qualification with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Cert IV in Training and Assessment is preferred, along with prior training experience.
- A genuine passion for knowledge sharing and mentoring.
- Extensive familiarity with Vermeer Equipment, particularly its systems and processes.
- Strong understanding of the company’s product line.
- Previous experience in a Vermeer-related position is highly advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills and technical knowledge are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A mature, logical, and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
