About the Role:
RDO Equipment Australia is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Training Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs for our dealerships, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of training and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training content and materials to meet the needs of our dealerships and customers.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in OEM certification processes for trainers.
- Assist in developing training content for Vermeer equipment.
- Research industry trends and best practices to stay up-to-date on the latest training methods and technologies.
- Develop and deliver training programs for RDO's Technical Competency Framework.
- Mentor apprentices and provide guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Build relationships with OEMs and key training providers to ensure that our training programs are aligned with industry standards.
Requirements:
- Mechanical trade qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience.
- Cert IV Training and Assessment qualification plus training experience an advantage.
- Passion for people and knowledge sharing.
- Extensive experience with Vermeer equipment, with a focus on systems and processes.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the company's line of products.
- Previous experience in a Vermeer-related role highly advantageous.
- Strong computer skills and technical acumen highly regarded.
- Proven ability to build relationships with internal and external customers, colleagues, and management.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Mature attitude with a logical and methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work within a team.
