Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Yardperson.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the Branch yard area and ensuring the safe loading and unloading of equipment.

You will work with a dedicated team in this busy environment, to ensure the branch yard is always safe, clean, and organized.

  • Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles using safe loading procedures
  • Performing general yard duties, including cleaning of equipment and facilities to ensure a safe and organized yard
  • Assisting with basic service and repair of non-high risk equipment in a workshop environment
  • Promoting a Safety First - Zero Harm safety culture - talking about safety to colleagues and customers

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A current forklift and driver's license
  • Mechanical aptitude - you enjoy tinkering with equipment and operating in a hands-on environment
  • A strong knowledge of and commitment to safety
