The RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our facilities, including the coordination of maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. You will also be responsible for managing our Helpdesk Jira job ticketing system and responding to internal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities- Execute research, scoping, organization, implementation, and follow-up compliance as delegated
- Action and manage outsourced arrangements for head office facility maintenance
- Plan and program all preventative maintenance under contract and ensure the contractor meets expectations
- Build and maintain effective relationships across stakeholder groups
- Coordinate internal Helpdesk Jira job ticketing system and respond to all head office/internal inbox management requests with a prompt and timely resolution
- Assist and create innovative new ways of working in an agile environment
- Understand and comply with WHS requirements and build support processes for work tasks and the elimination of workplace hazards
- Demonstrated experience working in a facilities/buildings management environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize and execute deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- A passion for project management and continuous improvement
- Proficiency in MS Suite (Building management, and Security and Access systems and, data management systems are desirable)
- WHS certifications desirable eg: Permit to Work, Working at Heights, OSH IV certification
