Workshop Coordinator Opportunity

Bis is seeking a skilled Workshop Coordinator to lead our operations team in ensuring the smooth repair and maintenance of mobile plant equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing resources, leading a dedicated team of tradespeople, and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve safety and operational excellence.
  • Coordinate resources to meet project deadlines and ensure quality control.
  • Oversee daily workshop operations, including pre-start meetings and monthly inspections.
  • Provide on-the-job training, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Liaise with the maintenance team to adapt and improve the scope of work.
  • Ensure workshop safety and compliance with all company procedures.
Requirements:
  • A trade-qualified professional (Mechanical).
  • A leader with at least 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a workshop setting.
  • A critical thinker with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • A person who can juggle multiple priorities and deadlines while keeping a clear focus on safety and performance.
  • Someone with the energy and drive to lead by example and influence positive outcomes.
