Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team in Parkes. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the workflow of the team, supporting the attraction, selection, training, and development of permanent and casual team members. You will also develop and maintain relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will support the resource planning for grain receival and outload activity during peak and off-peak periods. You will also oversee the planning and execution of scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance, grain protection, safety, and quality activities, as well as related reporting.

During our busy harvest intake periods, you will supervise a large seasonal workforce at multiple sites.

About Your Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have plant operations experience gained in any industry, a strong safety mindset, and a genuine desire to make a positive contribution to the agricommodities industry.

You should have some experience in supervising teams or the potential to do so, good communication skills, time management, and IT literacy. Additionally, you should be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
