Senior Mining Operations Manager

At our site, we have innovative, technical, and collaborative people. We operate block caving, sub-level caving, and open pit mining methods, with a long mine life and a century of mining vision.

This is a 7:7 roster with a 12-hour day.
We seek an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a Block Cave mining crew. You will deliver safe, timely, and high-quality ore production to the mill.
As a leader, you will influence production outcomes, drive safety performance, and ensure operational targets are met. Your ability to maintain high standards and foster a strong team culture is key.
You will:
- Lead and mentor your crew to achieve safe and efficient ore production
- Keep schedules tight and quality spot-on (grade, size, moisture)
- Drive safety conversations and improve risk assessments
- Collaborate with other teams to complete tasks
- Support team development and recognize great work
Our team is known for innovation and teamwork, with a long mine life and a century of mining vision.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Experience in underground mining and proven leadership in production environments
- Hands-on experience in block cave or sub-level cave operations
- Strong understanding of underground production environments
- Current Underground NSW Mine Supervisor Practising Certificate
- Minimum 1 year in a Production Supervisor role
- At least 5 years of underground mining experience
- First Aid, Working at Heights, security clearance, and a current Driver's Licence
