About the Role
The Australian Army's AH-64E Apache helicopter program is seeking an experienced Flight Scheduler to support aircrew training and flight planning activities.
This role involves coordinating tasks related to flight and simulator device training, including asset booking and live flight scheduling. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Defence operational flying squadrons and experience working with resource and asset planning tools such as Patriot Excalibur (PEX) and PMKeyS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and coordination of tasks regarding Flight and Simulator Device training activities.
  • Supporting the successful coordination of all training continuum course delivery schedules and pilot pathway events.
  • Coordinating and re-scheduling efforts for all training event changes, including conducting schedule risk assessments and providing reporting documentation.
  • Supporting the generation of administrative reports as the Course Manager for training initiation and completion.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years' experience in a flying operations support and programming role.
  • Demonstrated track record in driving process and productivity improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills with business, customers and other stakeholders.
