Job Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to support the AH-64E Apache helicopter program. This role fulfils vital scheduling and programming tasks for aircrew training, related flight and simulator planning, and administrative course reporting activities.

This role is based in Townsville, working alongside Defence operational flying squadrons and Australian Army members. We are seeking self-motivated individuals with scheduling, planning, and coordination experience, with a desire for a challenging and rewarding career.

  • Experience working in Defence operational flying squadrons.
  • Resource and asset planning, scheduling, and coordination experience.
  • Working knowledge using relevant planning tools.
  • Understanding of Defence training reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting planning, scheduling, and coordination of tasks regarding Flight and Simulator Device training activities.
  • Coordinating and re-scheduling efforts for all training event changes.
  • Generating administrative reports as the Course Manager for training initiation and completion.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in a flying operations support and programming role.
  • Demonstrated track record in driving process and productivity improvement.
  • Exceptional communication skills with stakeholders.
