Process Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to oversee the management of all aspects related to assigned commercialization and capital projects. This role will also involve supporting, troubleshooting, and improving existing food processing cells and production lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with R&D, engineering, maintenance, contractors, and other support teams to design, develop, procure, and implement new technology and/or retrofit existing food processing and production lines.
  • Create and maintain detailed engineering diagrams, conduct engineering cost analyses, plan project schedules, bid proposals, manage capital expenditures, contractor activities, and safety protocols.
  • Review and analyze packaging, processing lines, and utilities within the facility, describing, illustrating, and evaluating systems, identifying limiting components, and determining cost and benefits of any changes.
  • Work closely with leadership and plant management to identify, evaluate, and assess opportunities for improving production efficiency, sustainability, and quality from an engineering perspective.
  • Lead major investigations into equipment and/or process failures or inefficiencies, develop corrective action plans, and implement performance improvements.

A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent engineering degree) and a minimum of three years' experience designing and executing manufacturing equipment/capital projects.
