The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic MC Driver to join our metro team at our Darwin depot. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of general freight to and from customer specified sites across the metro and regional areas of Darwin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing local pickups and deliveries to our vendors and clients across Darwin.
  • Transporting various types of goods, including produce, general freight, and refrigerated freight, across the metro and regional areas.
  • Safely operating and maintaining company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Loading and restraining all loads in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the mechanical fitness of vehicles and reporting any issues or incidents promptly.
  • Providing exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and handling any inquiries or issues professionally.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Current MC Driver's Licence with demonstrated experience in your licence class.
  • Current LF licence.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in various driving conditions.
