Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Governance and Assurance Senior Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement supporting services, documentation, and training that embed best practice across Sustainable Infrastructure.

You will ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards, review and improve critical documentation, and support training initiatives that enable teams to work more efficiently and effectively.

Your work will help drive operational excellence and ensure our infrastructure outcomes align with SA Water's strategic objectives.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks, processes, and documentation for the Asset Planning to Capital Delivery lifecycle.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of key internal and external documentation and reports, financial approvals, and project/program submissions.
  • Conduct and manage audits, health checks, and quality reviews across asset management and capital delivery projects.
  • Serve as custodian of capital project and program procedures, maintaining up-to-date, accurate, and accessible documentation.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and experienced governance and assurance professional with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks.

You will have proven experience in developing and implementing governance processes, conducting audits, and delivering high-quality reporting.

You are confident in training and influencing stakeholders at all levels, with excellent verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills.
