Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Legal Specialist to provide strategic governance, compliance, risk and regulatory guidance across the Franchise Model.


Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Bendigo Bank meets obligations under each franchise agreement.
  • Provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations.

Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Corporations Law and other statutory and regulator requirements.
  • Understanding of legislative impacts from a government perspective.
  • Demonstrated legal experience ideally within Banking, Finance, Franchising, regulatory or compliance industries.
  • Sound knowledge of general banking practices.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Qualified Lawyer with 7-10+ years PQE.
