An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Property Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and monthly accruals processes.
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial reports, including NOI variance analysis and CAPEX forecasts.
- Maintain and reconcile property balance sheets and fixed asset registers.
- Business partnering - Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Support group reporting and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Commercial Property experience is essential for success in this role.
- Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- CPA/CA qualified is a must-have for the position.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in commercial or retail property accounting is necessary.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required for this role.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities are essential for translating finance into non-finance language.
- Experience with property management systems is beneficial.
