As AGL continues to shape the future of energy, we're seeking a skilled Customer Communications Specialist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to create and manage impactful content across our energy portfolio for residential and small-to-medium enterprise customers, driving customer engagement, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting operational goals.

About the Role:

As a Customer Communications Specialist, you'll be responsible for developing clear, engaging, and accurate communications to meet product, pricing, regulatory, and operational objectives. You'll work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all communications, collaborating to create educational materials in partnership with customer service teams to proactively address common customer concerns and improve service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage impactful content across our energy portfolio, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create consistent messaging and alignment across all communications.
  • Lead the creation of educational materials in partnership with customer service teams to address common customer concerns and improve service.
  • Utilize performance dashboards to identify opportunities to optimize customer engagement and refine communication strategies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and customer engagement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in communications roles, preferably within the energy or regulated industries.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to craft concise and impactful messaging.
  • Strong project management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in measuring communication effectiveness and using data to inform strategy.
