**Job Role:**

Benefits and Value Management Specialist:

This role involves facilitating the identification, analysis, planning, and tracking of benefits used to underpin the delivery of complex programs and projects into an operational service environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading benefits and dis-benefit identification and quantification workshops using Investment Logic Mapping technique with stakeholders of varying seniority.
  • Facilitating agreement on program and project benefits with business change managers and senior users, ensuring required business change is in place for successful benefits realisation.
  • Reviewing investment proposal submissions and developing business cases during options analysis, investment appraisal, and portfolio delivery prioritisation.
  • Assessing the impact of change requests on benefits realisation.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Proven ability to establish and manage a benefits and value management service for large-scale programs and projects.
  • Ability to identify, quantify, map, track, and report progress of program and project benefits, providing assurance that forecast benefits can be realised.
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management skills to support business change, including influencing key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a team environment and develop effective working relationships with programs and projects.
  • Strong negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and communication skills for use in a complex program/project environment.
