Position: Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician

Location: Care First - Pheasey, Walsall area, Birmingham

Salary: Up to £60,000 based on experience

Employment Type: Permanent, 52 weeks per annum, 37.5 hours per week

Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle

We are in search of a skilled Clinical Psychologist and Lead Clinician to enhance our team, contributing to tailored assessment and intervention strategies for the adults we support. Role Overview

The position is situated within Care First - Pheasey, Walsall area. You will be part of a newly established clinical team, facilitating multidisciplinary teamwork alongside Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy. This integrated clinical team structure promotes effective collaboration across educational services, aiming to optimize clinical outcomes for the adults in our care.

Your work will align with our service policies and procedures, engaging with existing multidisciplinary and clinical governance frameworks to support ongoing service development and ensure quality assurance.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic).
  • Registered with the HCPC and BPS.
  • Experience supervising Assistant Psychologists.
  • Background in working with adults or children with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Skilled in sensitive communication and conflict resolution.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development relevant to the role.
  • Significant post-qualification experience with adults and children.
  • Experience in teaching or training.
  • Proficient in data management, including collection and analysis to inform service delivery and development.
