Renewable Energy Project Leader

At Monford Group, we are building the future of renewable energy. We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a passion for leading large-scale solar farm projects on both the East & West Coast. As a key player in the team, you'll be responsible for managing and delivering projects to ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of solar farm projects from initial design to final commissioning. You'll manage project schedules, budgets, and resources ensuring everything is on track and within scope. Collaborate with a talented team of engineers, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.

\

Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks to keep everything running smoothly. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and site teams, helping them develop and grow their skills. Oversee compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.

\

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging creative solutions and new ideas. Work on long-term projects with the potential to progress into higher leadership roles within the company.

The successful candidate will have:

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Civil).\
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Project Engineering role, with 2+ years in a leadership capacity.\
  • Strong background in renewable energy projects, particularly solar farms.\
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and guide teams to success.\
  • Ability to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver results under pressure.\
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (due to the requirement for frequent travel to construction sites)\
  • A passion for the environment and renewable energy solutions.\
