
Agricultural Relationship Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our team in Albury, NSW.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships in the major agricultural region of Southern NSW.
As a Senior Account Manager, you will provide agronomic and technical support to our farmers and producers in the region, with product sales both in store and on farm.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about agriculture and has excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Gain exposure to an agriculture area with broadacre cropping
- Engage and work alongside a team within an established business, servicing the needs of cutting-edge farmers
- Responsibility for increasing the productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises
- Build solid and long-term client relationships, and develop a strong understanding of the clients' business goals and share technical and market information to enable clients to improve the performance and sustainability of their farming enterprises
- Maintain relationships with existing customers, with room to target new clients through the provision of superior sales and agronomic input
- Stay up to date with latest plant production practices together with running and coordinating field days and farmer meetings
About you:
- Strong technical knowledge in agronomic practices and application
- You will have a minimum 4-5 years building enduring and successful partnerships with customers, delivering appropriate agronomic advice and service
- History of success in executing sales outcomes using your specialist knowledge of fertiliser, seed and chemical products and application applicable to those crops grown in the region
- You will demonstrate excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
- A tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license is essential
- Your experience in an agronomic advisory role related to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser will secure this rewarding role
