Senior Agronomy Account Professional

As a Senior Agronomy Account Professional, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the agricultural sector. Your primary goal will be to develop and execute strategies that drive growth and profitability for our clients.

  • Provide expert agronomic advice and support to clients, ensuring they have access to the latest knowledge and technologies in crop management and production.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase product sales both in-store and on-farm, leveraging your technical knowledge and industry connections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, enhancing client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability of farming enterprises, proposing actionable solutions to clients.
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, fostering a deep understanding of their business goals, challenges, and needs, providing tailored technical and market information to help them achieve success.

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of agronomic practices and applications.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in building and maintaining successful customer partnerships, delivering high-quality agronomic advice and service.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales outcomes through specialist knowledge of fertilizers, seeds, and chemical products relevant to the region.
  • Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license are essential.
