Key Accountant Role

You will work as a key team member with our finance department, which provides strategic support to achieve operational objectives. Your day-to-day activities will involve assisting in the preparation and review of weekly and monthly commercial performance reports. This role will collaborate closely with the National Finance Manager and partner with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake financial analysis and variance reporting
  • Understand operational reasons contributing to performance
  • Assist in the development of management and compliance reporting
  • Undertake periodic review of customer performance
  • Maintain effective working relationships with personnel in the team and other departments
  • Support the development of commercial offers to customers, working with business partners
  • Review weekly contribution margin/contract profit margin
  • Ad hoc accounting tasks
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or equivalent and significant commercial experience
  • CA or CPA qualified (or working toward completion) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience within a commercial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business
  • Experience with Google Suite, SAP, TM1, and Excel is an advantage
