Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Financial Modelling Analyst to join our team in Perth. As a key member of our global mining finance advisory team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and modelling support for transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, project and corporate finance, and debt restructuring.

You will work closely with our deal teams, involving financial analysis, document preparation, and co-ordination of third party contacts. As the role develops, there is scope for increasing responsibility in line with experience and performance, as well as international travel opportunities.

We operate globally with offices in various locations. Founded in 2000, we have a strong track record of over 200 mine finance transactions.

Your Role

The responsibilities include:

  • Creating complex financial models and conducting qualitative and quantitative industry and company research.
  • Analysing a broad range of corporate finance transactions, including capital structure, project development, acquisitions, mergers, capital market refinancing, and strategic alternatives.
  • Drafting and reviewing solicitation materials and other documentation, including pitches, teasers, information memorandums, management presentations, etc.
  • Assisting the team in marketing activities, including client relationship development and maintenance.
  • Participating in client meetings, industry conferences, and external training sessions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should hold an undergraduate degree in finance or a related field, preferably from a leading university. Postgraduate qualifications or professional certifications such as CFA would be advantageous.

Key Skills and Competencies

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills are essential. You should possess strong financial modelling skills, be well organised, and able to work efficiently under tight deadlines. Teamwork, creativity, and intellectual curiosity are also highly valued.

Additional Information
