Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Business Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to drive excellence in their field and make a real impact.

As a Corporate Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Corporate Finance and Corporate Technology teams. Your main responsibility will be to provide high-quality financial analysis and reporting to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. You will also have strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems is a plus.

In this role, you will work closely with the FP&A Manager and Corporate Business Partner to enhance cost visibility and accountability. You will identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to create efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Month end accounting requirements for the Corporate Function including accruals and cost allocations
  • Ensure the integrity of Corporate financial information, including preparation and posting of accounting adjustments, accounting advice to stakeholders and ensuring adherence to group financial control standards
  • Monthly reporting and variance analysis supporting the Corporate Function
  • Provide support to the FP&A Manager and Corporate Business Partner to enhance cost visibility and accountability
  • Identify and implement process improvements in planning & reporting to create efficiencies.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A tertiary accounting qualification
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
  • 3 years' experience in accounting or analyst role with demonstrated technical accounting skills and analytical skills
  • A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to communicate to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proficient use of Excel
