Join us to excel in your career as a cytogenetic data analyst. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the generation of high-quality cytogenetic data, ensuring accuracy and precision in clinical case analysis.
About the Role:This position plays a crucial part in supporting paediatric oncology through data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing cytogenetic and genomic assays for clinical case analysis, supporting quality compliance and staff training in lab processes.
- Responsibilities include: citing literature on genome instability, performing G-banded karyotyping and SNP microarray.
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of cytogenetics and genomics principles. A minimum of 36 months of employment in an IANZ/NATA accredited oncology cytogenetics laboratory is required. You should also have demonstrable experience and competence in the performance and understanding of a wide range of diagnostic tests or procedures.
