At Qube, we are seeking an experienced Vessel Operations Planner - Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that vessel operations are supported by effective and efficient planning processes.

About the Role

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver resilient, safe, and profitable business outcomes. You will work closely with our AAT, Customer Central Planners, and Cargo Superintendent teams to prepare discharge/load sequencing and plans for all PCC, RORO, break/bulk, and general cargoes.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and coordinate discharge/load sequencing and plans for all cargo types
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
  • Monitor and review operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed
  • Assist in the coordination of labor rostering and resource allocation
  • Generate reports on labor utilization and stevedoring operations performance
  • Serve as a key point of contact for payroll and leave inquiries
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Supervisory experience in the stevedoring or similar industry
  • Experience working in high-risk operating environments
  • Strong understanding of operational capabilities and machinery operation
  • Regulated workplace environment experience
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
