Welder Opportunity

Are you a skilled Welder looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity available for a reliable and safety-focused individual to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment and related tools/accessories are in sound functional order and responding promptly to rectify damage or wear.

Responsibilities:

  • Be an organised and proactive individual to ensure equipment and related tools/accessories are in sound functional order.
  • Respond promptly to rectify damage or wear to the wheels of our customers.
  • Diagnose/identify and troubleshoot wheel damage.
  • Ensure all equipment used on site meets operational requirements and enables work to be carried out safely.
  • Ensure every wheel is inspected and complies with QMS after each process stage of repair.
  • Ensure any work task performed outside the identified Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) is risk assessed and reviewed by an appropriate supervisor prior to commencing.
  • Ensure all required documentation is accurately completed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Appropriate trade qualifications in welding/heavy fabrication.
  • Forklift licence (LF) or ability to obtain.
  • Strong commitment to safety of yourself and others.
  • Fit and able to carry out manual labour requirements.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Must hold a government-issued Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
  • Must have current work rights in Australia.
