Job Opportunity

The Mount Isa Mine, located in North West Queensland, is seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join their workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks including structural steel fabrication, structural repairs on dump truck trays and attachments, and welding and fabrication to AS/NZS 1554 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural steel fabrication
  • Structural repairs on dump truck trays and attachments
  • Welding and fabrication to AS/NZS 1554 standards
  • Maintenance of accurate records of work completed

Requirements:

  • Proven skills in ore chute fabrication and repairs
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks on heavy mobile equipment
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
