Heavy Diesel Mechanic Position

BTP is one of Australia's largest suppliers of machinery rental, parts and services to the mining, construction and earth-moving industries. Our capabilities include machine rebuilds, Service Exchange components, Site based and Field Service labour and machinery rental.

We are seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team based out of MT Thorley, NSW. As a member of our field team, you will bring your mechanical experience & knowledge to maintain, diagnose & repair a range of CAT heavy mining equipment on customer project sites throughout NSW.

About You
  • You should be passionate about maintaining high workmanship ensuring equipment reliability exceeds customer expectations.
  • A problem solver with analytical skills and a drive for quality improvement.
  • Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety within the mining industry.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles promoting positive customer relationships.
  • Expert knowledge of CAT mining equipment with good diagnostic skills.
  • Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems.
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements.
  • Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology (NSW Certificate of Proficiency).
