As a payroll professional, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in processing client payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

About the Role
  • This is a trainee position where you will learn foundational knowledge of the payroll industry and ADP products and services.
  • You will be part of a formal training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to deliver high-quality payroll support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured training program focused on payroll administration.
  • Process allocated client payrolls, maintaining accuracy and adhering to deadlines.
  • Provide timely responses to pay-related queries via various channels, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve client issues, escalating matters as required.
  • Prepare long service leave, terminations, retrospective payments, and other payroll-related transactions accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • No prior customer service experience is required, but it is desirable.
  • Familiarity with payroll environments is not essential, but exposure is welcome.
  • A basic understanding of Australian payroll legislation is beneficial, but not mandatory.
  • You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service is expected.
  • You must demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, is necessary.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks is crucial.
  • Experience with ADP products is highly valued.
