Process Operations Specialist

  • Operate complex systems and equipment to achieve optimal performance.
  • Monitor process variables and make adjustments to maintain efficiency.
  • Perform routine inspections, data logging, and system surveillance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot process deviations or equipment faults.
  • Assist in shutdown, startup, and emergency response procedures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate shift reports and handovers.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Process Plant Operations (preferred)
  • Experience working in a heavy chemical, petrochemical, or manufacturing environment (preferred)
  • Familiarity with control systems and process instrumentation.
  • Strong awareness of process safety and risk management.
  • Mechanical aptitude and sound troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced industrial environment.
