**Job Title:** Meat Processing Specialist

**Role Description:

A meat processing specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a butchery and smallgoods production facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team.

**Responsibilities include:*

  • Preparing and producing quality fresh meat products in accordance with company guidelines and timeframes.
  • Operating machines to grind, mix, mince, and tenderize meat.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the Meat Department.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for customers, staff, and contractors by adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) and Food Safety regulations.

**Requirements include:**

  • AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing (Butchery) or higher.
  • At least 3 years recent and relevant work experience.

  • Rotating roster.

**Note:** The successful candidate will be able to relocate to Picton, NSW 2571, and possess a Bachelor's Degree (preferable).
