Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salary Administration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the payroll team, you will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis, with exposure to multiple awards and EBAs.

Your primary focus will be on calculating new starter and termination entitlements, lodging PAYG and payroll tax, addressing queries, and managing relationships with stakeholders. You will also provide ad hoc support across the team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process salary administration tasks, including payroll calculations and reporting
  • Manage awards and EBA interpretations to ensure compliance
  • Lodge PAYG and payroll tax in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring data integrity
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in salary administration and payroll processing
  • Knowledge of awards and EBAs, with ability to interpret and apply
  • Proficient in using relevant software systems, such as Preceda, Dayforce, or UKG Pro
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality results, with attention to detail and accuracy
