Role Overview

The Critical Response Specialist plays a pivotal role in the children and youth justice system, working closely with law enforcement to deliver essential services to at-risk youth.

  • Conduct thorough assessments of risks and needs, forging strong relationships with young people and their families.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies, to drive quality casework outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver impactful support services, encompassing referrals, linkages, and case management activities.
  2. Engage effectively with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and community partners, to drive service delivery excellence.
  3. Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and perform data analysis to inform casework and accountability.
  4. Develop strategic partnerships with Youth Justice Service Centre counterparts, contributing to improved court and case management practices.
  5. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to ensure service delivery aligns with contemporary best practice principles.
