This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of asset valuations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the external valuation program, instructing consultant valuers, and reviewing their reports. They will also coordinate the internal valuation program, working closely with performance analysts, and present valuation results to stakeholders.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of investment-grade retail property markets, and experience with listed and unlisted property funds management. The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Real Estate or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the external valuation program, including instructing consultant valuers and reviewing their reports.
  • Coordinate the internal valuation program and work closely with performance analysts.
  • Presentation of valuation results to stakeholders and providing strategic insights.
  • Maintenance of property forecast models and support analysis of developments, transactions, and leasing deals.
  • Advisory services on Asset Plans, Business Plans, and contribution to group initiatives and process improvements.
  • BUILDING STRONG MARKET RELATIONSHIPS AND PROVIDING TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ON PROPERTY-RELATED MATTERS.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Real Estate or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of investment-grade retail property markets.
  • Experience with listed and unlisted property funds management.
  • Skilled in running and interpreting cash-flow modelling systems.
