Culinary Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Operations Manager to support the health and wellbeing of individuals in detention centres.
This role involves preparing and serving culturally diverse, nutritious meals that contribute to the overall health and wellbeing of detainees. With a new contract commencing, we require a dedicated professional who can deliver high-quality food services while ensuring compliance with all food safety and health standards.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of food services, relevant food products, and Food Safety Standards, including HACCP programs. A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices and regulations is also essential for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing competing priorities, maintaining resilience, and delivering outcomes in a high-pressure environment
- Leading catering teams to achieve high-quality food service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety and health standards
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain a positive attitude, and drive high-quality outcomes is essential for success in this role.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizenship and willingness to be sponsored for government security and employment clearances
- Certificate IV in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in hospitality operational service delivery
