Job Title: Workers Compensation Claims Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced workers compensation claims manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims in collaboration with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims in accordance with state laws and policies to reduce the impact of workplace injury whilst ensuring that injured employees receive their correct entitlements and are aware of their rights and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate quick resolution of workers compensation claims with a strong focus on engagement between injured employees and the business to bring about understanding, collaboration and continuous improvement in claims management.
  • Co-ordinate and manage external service providers and gather information from internal stakeholders to effectively manage the claim.
Requirements:
  • A strong understanding of customer service and experience interfacing into customers in difficult situations.
  • Experience working within a quality management system with an IT interface.
  • Ideal qualification or certification in a health or business-related field.
Commercial Skills:
  • Excellent customer service and negotiation skills to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Tech Competency and Familiarity:
  • M Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Electronic Information Management systems.
  • Claims Management Information systems.
