Senior Case Manager for Workers' Compensation Claims

As a Senior Case Manager for Workers' Compensation Claims, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of workers' compensation management. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of complex workers' compensation claims from inception to resolution, assessing and evaluating claims to determine appropriate actions and resolutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for injured employees, medical providers, and legal representatives, providing timely and accurate information regarding claims status and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations related to workers' compensation and self-insurance, staying updated on changes in legislation and best practices.
  • Analyze claims data to identify trends and areas for improvement, preparing reports and presentations for management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate injured employees' timely return to work, coordinating with occupational health services and rehabilitation providers.
  • Provide training and support to junior case managers and staff on case management best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with customer injury management and return-to-work teams to create a comprehensive approach to injury prevention and claims management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in allied health or related field desirable; certification in workers' compensation is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
