Compensation Law Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Compensation Law Specialist to join our highly regarded Statutory Insurance team in Brisbane. Our pre-eminent workers' compensation practice is recognized as a leader in recovery under the Queensland workers' compensation scheme, advising top self-insurers across Australia.

The successful candidate will work closely with industry-leading partners and lawyers on workers' compensation, product liability, and public liability matters, including acting for insured employers, insurers, self-insurers, and corporations, drafting policies, and managing personal injury claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end workers' compensation or personal injury claims
  • Drafting policies and communicating with stakeholders
  • Working proactively, autonomously, and as part of a team

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years post-admission experience from a defendant insurance law firm
  • Strong technical, analytical, drafting, and communication skills
