Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Specialist to enhance our team's capacity for growth and improvement.

The Role:

  • Provide expert advice on learning and development strategies to employees and business leaders at all levels.
  • Design and deliver training programs as needed by department leaders.
  • Develop, review and update competency assessment documents to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Schedule training sessions with external providers, coordinate staff participation and onsite resources for effective learning outcomes.
  • Participate in training audits and provide recommendations for compliance enhancement.
  • Facilitate and maintain the employee induction and onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Support the integration of existing training records into new Learning Management Systems.
  • Conduct end-to-end recruitment and other HR activities as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Training & Assessment is essential for this role.
  • Experience in developing competency assessment documentation is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management System(s) is required.
  • Experience in designing and delivering group competency-based training is necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Enthusiasm for compliance-focused training activities is a must.
  • Degree in Human Resources is advantageous but not essential.
