Blast and Drilling Operative

About this position
Our client seeks a skilled Blast and Drilling Operative to lead their drill team and oversee the drilling process.
- Liaise with clients on hole and sample production, ensuring timely delivery of results.
- Complete all necessary safety documentation and adhere to strict protocols.
- Participate in routine equipment maintenance and upkeep.
- Assist with loading and unloading heavy machinery and vehicles.
- Set up, dismantle, and move drill rigs and associated equipment as required.
- Clean and maintain drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Support the setup, dismantling, and movement of rigs and associated equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
About you
To be eligible for this role, you must possess:
- Substantial experience in blast hole drilling (D65, DPI, GD5000);
- A valid driver's license;
- An unwavering commitment to health and safety, with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical check;
- Eligibility to obtain a police clearance if required.
