Care Worker for Young People

We are seeking skilled professionals to provide daily care and supervision to children and young people in a 24/7 residential setting.
Main Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and transport to children and young people
- Participate actively in activities to increase competencies of young people
- Maintain professional relationships with young people
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual plans for the young people
- Support the development and maintenance of social skills among children and young people
- Keep accurate records and write reports as necessary
- Prior knowledge and/or experience working with young people in Residential Care programs is essential
- Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar is mandatory
- Completion of Top Up Units in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (CHCMHS007, CHCPRT009, CHCCS009, CHCPRT010) is also required
- A Senior First Aid Certificate is current or willingness to obtain one if successful
- An unrestricted Australian Driver Licence is necessary
- The ability to work varied shifts throughout the week is required
