Job Summary

This role involves managing financial aspects of a portfolio of bakeries, including assessing financial health, risk, and security.

  • Making recommendations to stakeholders and implementing suitable commercial and financial solutions
  • Taking a lead role in the Annual Business Review process, focusing on critical franchisees and those for expansion/growth
  • Working with teams to make decisions regarding suitability and readiness for new sites or expansion
  • Assessing return on investment for new sites and refurbishments
  • Managing debt and working with financiers and franchisees on loan refinancing
  • Leading Commercial Team projects and liaising with internal and external stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager who will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role, with working knowledge of accounting principles, banking, and funding requirements
  • Be business degree qualified with a CA or CPA qualification
  • Have strong financial and business acumen, and practiced negotiation skills
  • Be a problem solver, able to identify and manage risks and enhance efficiencies
  • Enjoy building relationships and partnering with others for successful outcomes
