Fund Accountant, Private Credit

The primary role of this position is to provide financial and accounting support for private credit funds. This includes managing day-to-day operations, preparing reports, and ensuring the fund's financial information is accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical knowledge of financial and fund accounting principles, as well as ability to document and justify complex financial matters.
  • Oversee daily cash forecasting, monitoring investment activities, and managing liquidity requirements.
  • Coordinate capital call and distribution processes, prepare working schedules and notices prepared by third-party administrators.
  • Manage credit and leverage facility operations, including drawdown, repayment, payment process, and covenant reporting.
  • Oversee quarterly NAV reporting package and its supporting schedules from third-party administrators.
  • Approve investor statements.
  • Prepare annual financial statements and its supporting schedules.
  • Calculate management fee and performance fee.
  • Monitor fund performance metrics at both fund and asset level.
  • Produce investor reporting package, including investment manager's report, portfolio details report, and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Support investment team with deal funding process to ensure timely funding.
  • Ensure fund budget and expenses align with fund documents and expectations, and payments are approved and processed in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties on the fund's external audit.
  • Prepare investor reporting to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Address queries and resolve issues from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to various ad-hoc projects to improve fund oversight models, processes, and controls.
