Workshop Service Coordinator Role Overview

The Workshop Service Coordinator is a pivotal position in the transportation industry, requiring strong administration and customer service skills. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with existing key accounts to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate and manage customer expectations regarding workshop bookings and scheduling.
  • Process customer payments when required and handle transactions efficiently.
  • Enter data accurately into timecards, service information, and invoicing systems, as well as perform various tasks from the accounts department.
  • Control vehicle condition reports and liaise with customers on pick up/drop off procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of workshop documents, including service, quality assurance, and consumables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven administration and customer service experience, with a strong understanding of the transport industry.
  • Experience working in a workshop environment, with knowledge of workshop operations and management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions independently and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
