**Job Title:** National Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven professional to take their career to the next level in the transport and distribution industry.

**Job Description:
  1. Develop strategic sales plans to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  2. Identify and secure new business opportunities within the transport and distribution sector, leveraging market trends and competitor analysis.
  3. Build strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders through exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requirements are met effectively and efficiently.
  5. Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify areas of opportunity for business development.
  6. Present tailored solutions to clients to meet their logistical and distribution needs.
  7. Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts for management review and decision-making.
**Requirements:**
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the Freight Forwarding industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset, with a focus on driving business growth and profitability.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Able to develop and maintain lasting client relationships, identifying and capitalising on new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in preparing strategic sales plans and meeting targets, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Knowledge of market trends within the transport and distribution sector, with the ability to analyse and leverage this information to drive business development.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results and meeting business objectives.
