Transportation Infrastructure Program Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of professionals in the transportation infrastructure industry. As a Transportation Infrastructure Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and directing complex projects and services provided by the County's Road & Bridge Program.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates activities of supervisory personnel across divisions of the Road & Bridge Program.
  • Monitors program progress, resolves issues, and initiates corrective actions to ensure project and goal completion.
  • Develops contract specifications and oversees vendors and contractors for compliance.
  • Prepares and manages the program budget, ensuring activities stay within policy guidelines.
  • Conducts research, prepares technical reports, and develops recommendations for program improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field, plus nine (9) years of progressive experience in transportation infrastructure maintenance and construction, including five (5) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
  • Master's degree in Public Administration, Organizational Management, or Leadership is preferred.
