About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload of paediatric clients and helping them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for paediatric clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to promote client progress and achievement of goals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and behaviour support practitioners, to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and research in paediatric speech pathology.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate speech pathologist to join our team at Sensia Allied Health.

Key Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
  • Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • NDIS Workers Check, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with paediatric clients with communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in paediatric speech pathology.
