About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team in the Yorke and Northern Local Health Network. As a Rehabilitation Speech Pathologist, you will work with adults and children with swallowing and communication difficulties, providing clinical services through various therapy modes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver client-centred care using a multi-disciplinary model
  • Develop skills in communication, including speech, language, and fluency
  • Support clients to access Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to meet their communication needs
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary feeding team to address paediatric feeding needs
  • Develop dysphagia management and adult communication skills
  • Provide education and training for staff in nursing homes and residential facilities

Eligibility

To be eligible for this role, you must hold a recognised qualification in Speech Pathology and be eligible for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia.
